C.M Welding & Engineering Services was established in 21st July 2025 by a time-served welder fabricator with years of hands-on experience at a local engineering company. We set up in Carlisle to bring proper, trade-standard metalwork to farms, builders, estates and businesses across Cumbria.
We're a small, focused team of time-served engineers and coded welders. We work to drawings, sketches or the back of a fag packet — whatever it takes to get the job specified, built and installed properly. Every job goes out the door with our name on it, so we make sure it's right.
Three things we won't compromise on.
Coded welders, proper materials, finished to spec. No shortcuts — because a bad weld is somebody's problem six months from now.
Free quotes. Fixed where we can be, transparent where we can't. You'll never see a surprise on the final invoice.
We live and work in Cumbria. If there's an issue, we're around the corner — not at the end of a national call centre.
